A point-and-click inventory management game that sees you as a scavenger from a small community. You make trade with a foreign group called the North Bay Company, who will trade freshly refurbished old world technology in exchange for the old scrap electronics you find in the nearby urban wasteland.

Made for the Wasteland 01 Jam. Fullscreen Recommended.

This was made to try and help you figure out how to play as you go. Below is a guide on the systems in the game in case you get stuck:

Travel

You have to navigate between your home, the trade fort, and the city. Use the Left-Mouse button to select a location to travel to. Once you arrive within the location's coloured circle, click the button on top of the player location to enter the world.

Home

The home location is where you can heal as well as place items your community needs in order to proceed in the game. Note that specific items are required and they must be placed in a specific configuration.

Scavenging

When you enter the city you will encounter rooms where you need to detect items. While you're there your filter will slowly drain.

Detect items by hovering the mouse over points of interest. When an item is found you can left-click to loot whatever goods may be hidden.

Right clicking will close the stash you found and return you to detecting. If you can't find any more goods, you can click the "New Area" button to explore a new room.

If you run out of space or filters, you'll have to exit the minigame and return to the fort or home. You can also use the dispose slot to get rid of excess junk.

Trade

Everything you need to collect for your community has to be traded for at the fort. The traders will take three slots worth of any electronic in exchange for filters, which you'll need in order to scavenge. Scroll through their other offers and drag the valid items you found in the wastes to the respective slots.
